Horse sizes; If your horse wears 6'0+ and is in between rug sizes, we recommend ordering the larger size of the two.
Cob / Pony sizes; These are a generous deep fit and true to size in terms of length.
With a double row of fastenings on both sides of the rug, the belly cover is adjustable to 3 levels - for optimum fit we recommend the elastic to be in light contact with your horses belly.

During regular use we recommend occasionally cleaning the inside of the rug at the chest, withers and along the mane. This is typically where grease builds up on the soft lining, restricting the hair from moving freely underneath. Wiping only with hot water, just once a month and allowing to dry can maintain comfort for your horse and reduce the chance of rubbing or hair loss.
Jet washing, strong detergent and fabric conditioner can damage the rug's waterproofing and breathability. To prolong durability we recommend only a cool wash once a year, or a professional service. MudRugs should be hung to drip dry only.
I am delighted with the 100 gramm mud rug. The next day delivery was supreme! As I’ve experienced before, the quality is second to none. As they say; “You get what you pay for”. I’m delighted to have it too 😍
Amazing weather proof rug performance is what you want and more. I'm a convert from a more expensive leading brand and it performs even better. The belly cover is genius and mud doesn't seep in. I have 3 now and will continue to buy mudrugs a 5 ☆ product
Have purchased the 50g this time for our other friesian x mare. The fit is great fantastic weather resistance to water and mud. The belly cover is genius and works a treat. I can't say enough good things about these awesome rugs. Everything you want and expect from a rug and more. Cost is fabulous compared to other leading brands. Give them a try you won't be disappointed I promise x
Curly loves his MudRugs and so do I! They are well designed, excellent quality and keep off a lot of mud! I particularly like the under belly feature. Thanks everyone for producing a top class product that is great value.
I'm so glad I bought this rug - initially I was disappointed that the 50g were sold out, but the 100g is working very well for my old boy. He has severe sweet itch and this year the midges are STILL out in November - so while he isn't itching madly, he still benefits from rugging and this rug with its tough outer and elasticated neck and most of all the brilliant tummy cover is ideal.
It fits him very well and he is able to move freely in it. I can see him in the dark nights as well with the reflective bits. It has come up slightly shorter than usual 6' for him, but there is a decent amount of flexibility of adjustment in the rug, and its very roomy in the shoulder.
he's a 15 hh Connemara with a decent shoulder.
